About

My name is Cormac Chester. I am a photographer, writer, and English teacher. Although I am originally from the United States, I currently live in Strasbourg and attend the local university, where I am studying a couple of American novelists from the 1960s. I am passionate about film photography, and I particularly enjoy shooting with the Nikon FM2 and F100.

Argentoratum is the name of the ancient Roman settlement that exists today as Strasbourg. Obscura comes from the camera obscura, the progenitor of the modern photographic camera.
