Current research: I am presently working on the representation/censorship of the Black experience and regimes of capital accumulation in two postwar American novels, The Man in the High Castle (1962) by Philip K. Dick and Gravity’s Rainbow (1973) by Thomas Pynchon. Both books are alternate histories (of sorts) that examine the relationship between Nazi Germany, the United States, and anti-Black racism.
